BuildaPoster Volunteers...

Living Illuminations, L.L.C officially sponsored a relief effort to Houston, TX. We sent several of our employees, partners, and friends with a company Mobile Home stocked with goods and supplies to Houston in an effort to volunteer at the Reliant Center and Astrodome Shelters. The "BuildaPoster Bus" arrived safely in Houston and volunteered for over a week's time.

Initially, we donated the use of several laptop computers with wireless internet for use in locating lost or separated family, relatives, and friends. Many emotional and joyful reunions were made, and over 10,000 families were entered into online databases as "safe".

This was a devastating disaster and countless lives were affected. It was a time of giving for all those in a position to do so, and we strongly urged anyone with the time to do what they could to help. We were honored to be assisting the Red Cross, Federal and Local authorities, and all the volunteers who came to the affected areas to help those in need.
